Partial Meniscectomy

When a meniscus tear cannot be repaired, a partial meniscectomy may be recommended. This procedure removes only the damaged portion of the meniscus while leaving as much healthy tissue as possible.

Performed arthroscopically, it relieves pain, reduces catching or locking in the knee, and helps restore normal movement. Recovery is typically faster compared to full meniscus removal.
