Ankle Fracture Surgery

Ankle fractures occur when one or more bones that form the ankle joint break due to trauma, twisting, or impact. Fractures can range from minor cracks to complex breaks that make the ankle unstable.

Ankle fracture surgery stabilizes the broken bones using plates, screws, or other fixation devices. The goal is to restore proper alignment, allow the bones to heal correctly, and return stability to the joint for long-term function.
