Distal Clavicle Excision (Arthroscopic Method)
Arthritic changes in the AC joint can cause chronic shoulder pain and stiffness. When non-surgical treatments fail, removing a small portion of the collarbone near the joint can relieve discomfort.
In the arthroscopic method, the surgeon uses small incisions and a camera to remove the damaged end of the clavicle. This relieves pressure, reduces pain, and preserves overall shoulder movement.
