Bankart Repair

A Bankart tear is a common injury in patients with recurrent shoulder dislocations. It involves damage to the labrum, the ring of cartilage that helps stabilize the shoulder joint.

Bankart repair is typically performed arthroscopically, using small instruments to reattach the torn labrum to the shoulder socket. This restores stability to the joint and reduces the risk of future dislocations.
