Anesthesia (Peripheral Nerve Block)

A peripheral nerve block is an anesthesia technique commonly used during knee surgery. It involves injecting numbing medication near specific nerves that supply sensation to the knee, temporarily blocking pain signals.

This approach provides excellent pain relief during surgery and often for several hours afterward. By reducing the need for general anesthesia and strong pain medications, it supports a safer, more comfortable recovery.
