ALIF: Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (with bone graft and pedicle screws)

ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) with Pedicle Screws and Rods replaces a damaged lumbar disc with a cage and bone graft through a front (anterior) approach. Unlike standard ALIF procedures that use a plate for stabilization, this method uses pedicle screws and rods placed from the back of the spine to provide additional support.

This dual-approach technique enhances stability and promotes successful fusion, making it an excellent option for patients with severe instability or complex spinal conditions.
