ACL Reconstruction (Arthrex® Tightrope®)

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the main stabilizing ligaments of the knee and is commonly torn during sports or high-impact activity. When the ACL is severely injured, reconstruction surgery is often needed to restore stability and function.

The Arthrex® Tightrope® technique uses a small device to secure the graft within the knee. This method provides strong fixation, minimizes surgical disruption, and allows the surgeon to precisely position the new ligament. Patients typically experience reliable stability and a faster return to movement compared to older reconstruction methods.
